This dance mat has a wide range of features so we supplement and explain some possible problems and precautions with the dance mat.

Here are some precautions with the dance mat:

Equipment requirements

Please make sure your TV has a standard HDMI port that need connected with host. Some older TV versions may be incompatible resulting in unclear images or no sound.

Odor

Due to the long-term sealing, the new dance mat will emit the odor of raw materials when it is taken out from the box. We promise that the raw materials used are RoHS compliant and the smell is non-toxic and harmless, so please rest assured that it will not affect your health. The odor can be completely eliminated in 3 days in a well-ventilated environment.

Static electricity

If you experienced a shock, it is likely due to the dryness of the room and the friction causing static electricity to build up in the mat. This is a normal phenomenon and not a case of electrical leakage. Please rest assured that the dance mat can be safely used.

Watch out for slip

While the back of our dance mat takes anti-slip measures, we highly recommend wearing the non-slip socks (included in the package) to enhance your safety and gaming experience. Make sure check the surface of the mat before you reuse to prevent water or foreign objects from causing harm to you.

Song customisation service

Considering that the dance steps need to be in sync, our dance mat does not support downloading your own songs. Our song library is constantly being updated and we also offer a song personalisation service. If you want your favorite songs to show on the dance mat, you can send the song name to our customer service team and we will carefully arrange it and upload it to our website for you to download. The arrangement time for each song is about 1 week.

Replacement accessory service

We offer free replacement of accessories service (gamepad support only). If you encounter any failure of the above accessory during use, you can contact our customer service team, and we will replace you with new one ASAP.

Maintenance

Please place the dance mat in a dry place for storage. It can be cleaned by wiping with a damp towel. When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery inside the dance mat and controller to increase longevity. The dance mat and wireless controllers require 6 AAA batteries. For transportation reasons the batteries are not included.

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions:

Q: Why are the indicator and disco light on the host working properly, but the screen is black?

A: You can try every HDMI channel (remember to adjust the TV source to the appropriate HDMI channel), or you can change the charger and try with your mobile phone charger, if there is still a problem, you can contact us.

Q: What should I do if I encounter a situation where the game freezes?

A: Being frozen is a rare occurrence, and it's because the memory card can't keep up with the loading speed. It won't damage the host. Simply turn off the host and give it a rest for a while.

Q: The disco ball does not work.

A: The disco ball needs to be aligned with the interface on the host to work, if there are foreign objects in the alignment port it needs to be wiped. If the connection is correct but it still does not work, please contact us.

Q: How to adjust the game volume?

A: The sound volume is determined by the TV, and you can use your TV remote control to adjust the sound volume.
